Waukee is a serious youth-sports town, and a lot of that runs through a handful of city facilities: a 66-acre tournament complex, a big high-school stadium with a park attached, and a municipal golf course. Here is what each has, what sports they host, and how to find games, leagues, or a tournament.
Waukee's flagship is Triumph Park, a 66-acre complex with 12 ball fields, the Miracle League field and the EPIC playground at 700 NW Douglas Pkwy. Waukee Stadium (555 SE University Ave) is the ~7,500-seat high-school stadium, next to Centennial Park's ball fields, sand volleyball and disc golf. Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course rounds it out. Together they host leagues, camps, and tournaments year-round.

The 12 softball and baseball fields draw travel-ball tournaments from across the region, while the Greater Iowa Credit Union Miracle League field and the EPIC inclusive playground make it a destination for families of all abilities. With two large high schools in town - Waukee High (Warriors) and Waukee Northwest (Wolves) - fall Friday nights and spring meets keep these fields busy.
Waukee also runs its own golf course: Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course at 1505 6th Street, a city course with a driving range that hosts youth and junior golf programs through Waukee Parks & Recreation. It is an easy on-ramp for kids getting into the game, and a low-key round for everyone else.
Across these venues, Waukee supports youth baseball, softball, soccer, football, track, sand volleyball, disc golf and junior golf, plus camps and clinics through the year. The City of Waukee Parks & Recreation department manages Triumph Park, more than 20 city parks, about 25 miles of trails, Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course, and the Community Center, and is the starting point for field rentals and tournament info.
